Here are 2 photos of my center trim and idrive controller. The controller hole was cut by hand, while the center trim basically had a leather wrap covering the CiC.

Just finished coding session with Patryk. Very impressed with his services. Now thinking of getting the combo box but need to save money first. Will be posting a DIY shortly.

I also have been having trouble with the GW500 in my 2007 Pre-LCi, exact same senario as merkava.
Its the new version with 6 switches and I have updated the firmware to version 2.22. I contacted Dension about this as well with no luck.....

Thanks a lot Harry

I sent you an email on the Combox. Luckily your CIC was updated to the latest software version so it's ready for the Combox whenever you decide to do it.

Hey Guys, I just got my recall notice for the HPFP. My question is does this mean i need to swirch back to the CCC nav? Does the dealer need to reprogram anything? Really do not want to put the CCC back in if I do not need to. Thanks in advance for the help.

From what i understand the HPFP will require a software update, so yes you will have to install the CCC.

Sorry guys im not able to help much in regards to the Dension issues some of you guys are having . I sold mines as soon as i found out i was gonna be able to retrofit 6FL. My advice is to sell it and go with the combox/6fl option from Patryk. You should be able to get $350-425 for you Dension and add that money the into the Combox/6fl.

Thanks, Nelson! Indeed, it is the most satisfying mod I have done so far!

I am still hesitant on the 6FL option, as I am not sure if there are limitations when compared to Dension, which uses optical cables. I would need to find a car with 6FL to test the sound, but then again, his speakers set up will not be the same as mine.

Also, is there a limitation on the number of songs in each playlist, or even a limit on the number of playlists?

Help!
I have purchased all parts required , cic, hd screen, controller and cabling ,trim etc.
And when I install them into my 2005 e60 with old ccc and voice control, HUD etc
Everything seems fine, picture and sound but car will not start just makes juddering noise.
Car is not coded yet as I am saving up for this but would of thought there would be other issues like the ones
Mentioned on this great thread .

Has anyone else had these problems or know of a solution till I get coding done.
