My Ride: 2006 M5 w/ all options

I did get a chance to rewire pin 21 on the blue connector and swap to the CLI Climate Control.
Here are the pics of the process:
Cut wire going to pin 21 on the blue connector:

The power connector where I will be getting GND and 12V from:

Extension wires soldered on and heat shrinked:

Blue hood slid back on:

Power connector wires exposed (I didn't have any wire tabs laying around that would fit):

Everything soldered together:

Electrical tape added to power connector wires:

CLI control unit all plugged in:
![](http://www.cstone.net/~dk/clirewire-9.JPG)
CLI control unit bolted back in place:
![](http://www.cstone.net/~dk/clirewire-10.JPG)
Job complete:

Basic functions now work (A/C compressor comes on when calling for A/C and the engine cooling fan doesn't run all the time), but communication between CLI and CIC is not very complete right now.
Patryk, I'll be contacting you soon!
Peter

Nelson, sweet job on the headliner!
My ride came w/ alcantara from the factory (full leather option) and I think I get more comments/complements on that than anything else. Here's mine:
