ok so just a little write up about my lci ihka install. Car is 530d 2006/01 (Ihka high from factory)with CIC retrofit. Everything was pretty simple, just do the wire mod which i desribed above (and ncsugrad provided great link), code ihka panel with default settings and as far as I know its all done. Tomorrow ill read the ihka again and check what differences there are between my default settings and lci ihka high donor.
btw. anyone know what happened to great bmwcoding.com forum???

Does anyone know if an F10 or F07 CIC Head unit fit an e60? I recently received an F07 Headunit and am attaching the pictures of it. I'm worried that I cannot find a the connector for the faceplate/volume control/buttons
Any help? I went ahead and opened the headunit and saw there is a red connector at the bottom left but its not being used. Do the faceplates on the F series attached to the third range/salmon connector at the back of the CIC?
