I went to Stevens Creek dealer last week to pick up my part after calling them to confirm the part was in, and I was told that the part was not checked in when I was there - no part found on the shelf 
.
After looking on the computer system, they said that the part has been routed to the dealer and they'd give me a call once they receive it.
Stay tuned. For sure I'll give you guys all the details.

I have access to the BMW WebTIS. With regard to the English versions, there are 2 PDF documents:
1. AUX Retrofit for E46 (complete), E39 (from 09/2002), E53 (X5 from 10/2002), E83 (X3) and E85 (Z4) - 14 pages, 424 KB filesize
2. AUX Retrofit for E60, E61, E63, E64 - 9 pages, 601 KB filesize
The ONLY models that have to be coded using DISPlus or GT-1 are:
E60, E61, E63 and E64
If anyone requires these PDFs, please send me an email and I will email it/them to you.
My email address is support@bmw-ci.com and hopefully it is also in the signature part below.

You can simply attach the TIS .pdf files to your posts. In the long run, it'll make your life easier than having to reply individually to people's requests and, in addition, it will become a permanent record for the forum...
