Well, I am going to try to get the Aux input(or IPOD) adapter installed at the performance center, so we will see.

Making preperations as we speak.

Did you install the adapter from navwithtv yourself? What was entailed with getting to the back of the screen to make the connection...

Do you get the cable that goes from the installed Aux. connection in the glovebox to the iPod from the dealer or from Apple? I spoke with the German dealership tonight and they did not have any idea about that cable since it has a special connector to dock with the iPod.

The Video Module is very easy to install i will try to get you guys an instruction manual if you like. When you pull out the screen there is two wires. One wire is power other is video the module from (navwithtv) shares both of those cables, you also need to hook up the 12v power to give the video module power that was actually the easiest thing to do for me ...

GOMAC: I got the part from teh dealer its a bmw part, ur dealer in germany must have a German Spec part number the one i gave today was a US spec, i think ice man gave a german spec number in this post just scroll back.

Still working on my dealer to ge tthis installed ..... but here is the EBA doc from the dealer that did the install for TurboDMan...
