It's true that the best car isn't always the one is the fastest. However, it's way beyond to me.
328i is more expensive, doesn't even have the leather seats, no sat radio, no power seats AND
underpowered, worse brakes. Only thing 328i is better is fuel economy.

Maybe a lot of people can bare with those but I certainly not. I can't imagine to drive $37k car
without leather and power seats.
i had a bare bones 09 328 loaner a few weeks ago. it was a total peice of crap and i COULD NOT BELIEVE it was made by the same company that made my 535. BMW should be ashamed to offer a car at that price with no options. New BMWs are overpriced to me and if you want a new bimmer, you should be leasing it.

I don't agree with the list you made up.
Neither do I now I recommend nobody try and make up a list like that. You'll regret it unless you spend hours thinking it through

Exactly craigm1841!!! That you felt in a 328i loaner won a comparison test again very well equipped G37S and Acura TL(last time I checked, only option you can select is navi)
BTW, I really think G37S should be compare with 530i even though the price difference is huge, sizewise, it's similar to E60. But G37S competes with smaller and lighter 328i
and still handles same.

yeah. no comparison. my friends wife has an 07 TL. that car would give my 5 series a run for the money with design and features IMO. very nice car. and i know the G37 is a great ride from what i have heard.

gotta pay the BMW premium i guess. they should turn the roundel into a dollar sign.

Probably because it wasn't made by the same company - your 535 was most likely built in Germany, while the 328s roll of the assembly line right here in the good old U.S. of A - Spartanburg, SC plant. And we all know what U.S. auto industry is like

I did not know that the 328s came without leather. What the hell? Is the 128 and 528 the same as well?

That'd make the european delivery program exceedingly inefficient

no, far from all. It used to be the Z4, X5 and the 3 series, but now I think its only the 3 series and the X3... not sure exactly, but the 3 series definitely.
