New boy here , getting out of a string of X5's and picking up a facelifted Carbon Black 535d M Sport on Monday (could of been Friday but dealer is busy with 3 Convertible launch).
Ordered the car last August as an interim before the new X5 turned up (2 years wait) . In the meantime we've decided the X5 has just gone toooo big so we'll stick with 5's from now on.
Intrigued to see how this lane detection system works and can be switched off ! Spec is 172 19"s,Comms pack,visibilitypack,headlight assistant,spoiler, dakota black leather,6 disc player,i pod connector,electric seats,sun protection glass , electric blinds and auto dim mirrors.
Friend has a chipped 535d Touring so may be tempted to play with it at some stage!

Mine is now out of the groups PDI centre and with the dealer - now the agonising 36 hour wait begins! The torment of it being ready to collect tomorrow but not being able to get there until Wednesday is just too much!

Yeah we're ready for some pix of the real deal. It seems that you will be getting yours before it is formally unveiled in the UK, and probably the first UK LCI in this forum. I figured BMW would wait to release these cars to us until their little unveiling parties are done, in Europe and US. Hopefully not!

Were any of you guys who were sitting on the dock, now on a boat? I was advised as of 3/22 that I am on a ship in transit on my way to NJ. Anyone else leave the dock? Anyone have a ship name?
