i always put my cell phone in the little holder by the cigarette lighter. i always found it to be a good spot. a lot of my friends though with whatever car they have, i find them putting a cell phone holder clipped to the sunvisor and that looks like a good spot as well.

Mine has a cell phone holder in the center console. They are available for many phone models. This both links the phone to the antenna for greater range and charges the phone.
For using the Homelink without the car running, just get in the car, push the start button twice (without putting your foot on the brake) and hit the button. Then, when the door is up, put your foot on the brake and start as normal.

only one, the door bins are too thin,and shallow they should use the ones in the Audi A6, which are springed/expandible.
you can't even get a can of coke in our door bins!!!
all other places kill the Audi.
