4) I think this can be changed with the NCS code changes but I have not tried it.

Climate control is always on when I put the key in the ignition. I'd rather be able to decide if and when I want it on instead of the car.

Yes, there are these minor annoyances, but this car is a thoroughbred as far as performance goes. This is my first BMW, so can't comment on earlier models, but it is way more advanced than my previous W140 S-class M-B. Sure, that car was pure luxury--quiet and refined, but hardly nimble. The e60 feels like a good balance between driving dynamics and luxury. I am keeping mine for the long-haul. After all, I had my W140 for 13 years.

My Ride: 545I and a half dozen other rides
Boy where do I start...
- No Freaking Temperature Gauge
- Needing to double pump the door handle to get out...
- Needing to use the key remote to unlock the rear door to get my daughter out because I forgot to use the central unlocking. Basically I hate that opening the drivers door from the inside does not unlock all doors.
- Yeah the trunk bugs me too.
- The cheap peeling paint on the interior bugs me a lot.
- Needing to go to the idrive every time you want warmer or colder air to come out of the center vents.
- Crappy gas mileage for such a high tech small cubic inch engine. 545i
- No lumbar support on Sport seats!!!!
- No sport/comfort button for the suspension
- Weak looking single piston calipers, while everyone else is doing multi piston versions.
- headlights that oxidize
- Weak design for a cup holder.
- I'm sure there are more things but these are the top of my list right now. I'm sure I will add a couple more.
