I had a 1990 Mustang LX 5.0. No car I have ever owned before or since could smoke the tires the way that that car could. That car specialized in laying down rubber. And when I drove that car in my early twenties, I did a lot of that.

Frank had issues with slamming in his 550i as did a BUNCH of other people. And as I recall, Craig also had a slamming issue on his 535i...

Brake torquing from a stop is not my normal lauch style but I've done it occassionally on all my car (all have had auto trans). My transmissions have always held up during my leases and I always bring the car in for regular services and have always had all mechanical problems fixed ASAP when I found them. I don't do neutral drops. If you brake torque the transmission occassionally, it will be fine. Driving the car hard but within its performance envelope is not a violation of the lease. Running at high rpms will shorten the engine and tranmission life somewhat but doing so is not a violation of the lease.

id love to burn up the rear tyres some times (is a 2.5d even powerful enough lol?)
