"Folks 'round here call me The Impregnator."
Sarah Palin got a good drubbing from him (Vanity Fair, I think).

Like yoga and Sarah Palin's daughter, nothing is safe to do all the time. However, the cost of the eventual damage to your transmission, brakes, differential, and engine will be offset quite well by the satisfaction you surely will acquire by knowing that everyone around you thinks you are a complete f*cking idiot.
+1. On this we agree.

By some of the replies here, sounds like some of you never open up their cars!?

I like the 550's power...not as a notion or a badge that signifies power but in actual real world experiences that I get from stomping on the accelerator once in a while.

I have two young children that I love more than life itself and therefore would never take unnecessary chances with my life or put anyone in harms way. Every once in a while when I have a late drive and find myself on some little desolate road in the middle of the night where the only risk is a poor skunk or possum crossing the road coming in contact with my bumper at speeds I won't mention...I let her rip!

Same logic applies to the typical "I pull up at a stop light....you pull up at a stop light...I gotta 550...you gotta (fill in the blank), we look at each other and with that simple little look we both know.....It's on !!!!" Light turns green and now it's all about why we pay premium prices for this otherwise unnecessary performance.

I'm not sure if the OP wanted to know how to burn rubber or get the best launch from a stop but if it's the latter.....well then...it's a hell of a valid question...no camaro....no minivan...no looking like an f@cking idiot..and whatever other suggestive posts I came across.

I learned something today...and the next time I pull up at a red light....I'll be a little better equipped to smoke the guy next to me.....under the right conditions....of course!!!

I hope you blow your tranny. You have a 550i and you want to do burnouts...WTF...really? How old are you? I have to imagine that you're under 25 right. Daddys car maybe? I agree with the ****ing idiot comment above. Again, go rag on a Camaro.

Wow...that's a hostile response. Not sure if it's directed at me but I'm 39 and have never blown a transmission so i'm sorry to dissapoint you. I'm very insulted. I didn't realize I was insulting anyone with my post and would warant this kind of response.
