Am I to understand this lets you watch while moving ??

I already have a bmw tv tuner

or is it a completely new tuner unit?
From the up to date German version of the website, it seems they are providing both

TX-5000 if you already have the telly.

TX-5500 with integrated telly. Bargain as well - 489 Euros

They just answered my email I sent half an hour earlier.

It is a different system!
You have to add it!

They still work on a system to make the TV-Tuner BMW has installed (if you have this option) showing the picture while driving. This system is to ADD dvd-players, etc. So you would have to install it and plug a tv tuner into it, or a dvd-player.
It is NOT making the BMW-Tuner able to give out a picture while the car is in motion - NOT YET !
But why don't take the 5500 and have their TV-tuner ? So you would have TV and you could plug something else in there (PS2, etc....) and see while the car is in motion (as a passenger, though)...

And what is the opinion: will the BMW do an original modul to BUSINESS NAV(tv modul, or dvd play), or not possible. I read all forum about CCC and MASK, but I dont know.
This is good money to the factory if they will do it.
????????

That's the same module.
It overrides the screen. You can't see anything else while in use. No splitscreen...
