Good news and Bad news (please correct me if I was misinformed).

If your BMW does not come Pre-Equiped for Sirius (This is shown as a $75.00 option on the car) then your out of luck if you want Sirius.

I thought I was all set because my car had this option but wouldn't you know....According to the parts department the Sirius add-on (yes you need to buy another part on top of the Pre-Wire option) is not even available yet and will probably run you several hundred (700?) dollars to install it when it is.

Go figure - you buy the $1,800 premium sound package and still have to shell out close to another 1K just to have Sirius? BMW? Hello?

the sirius pre wire (option 693) should cover you...to allow for a sirius radio/module install when available...expected to be US$499 MSRP.

Nothing says you can't spend 125 dollars and just get an aftermarket kit. I put one in my X5 and it's great. PM me and I'll send pix if you want
