I like both colors but the choice was made for me. I wanted the Beige interior, which cannot be paired with Ti Gray (not sure why). So I'm going with Silver Gray and am really happy with it.

That is not correct.....ANY interior color can be ordered with ANY exterior color that is offered by BMW. The interior/exterior color combinations that you see in the 5 series brochure and BMWusa.com are ONLY Suggestions.....you are NOT limited to those combinations if you are ordering and waiting for your car. Titanium Gray is available in the US, as well as the Beige interior, so you can order them together even though the 5 series brochure does not show them as a "combination".

Thanks for the tip - it did not even occur to me that you can order a non-suggested color combination.

I can't help but wonder, why did someone in BMW or BMWNA decide that Ti Gray / Beige should not be a suggested combination? Do they perceive some stylistic clash that I'm not aware about?

Hi there,

Its tough to decide on colors for the E60. IMHO, I think the lighter colors look better on the car and these highlight the contours of the body work better. Silv grey is my pick over TiGray which has a greenish cast. I'm torn between Silvgrey and white. I might flip a coin.

Good Luck

i have silver gray/black and i also like ti gray. silver gray is little lighter and imho is easier to keep clean. but every time when i see a ti gray, it's delicious . especially the rear, the blinkers look more "clear" than silver gray.

Yesss!!! Jet Black - the only way to go!!! It amplifies the aggresive stance of the car; especially from the front.

But, if you don't like black, then Titanium II is the way to go. Silver grey looks a little dull after a while.
