My Ride: E60
I've lost track of how the engines are now. Was there a change to certain models in 2005? How about 2006? I have a 530i (MY06) on order and wonder how the engines have been updated since the '04 models.

My Ride: 545i Mystic Blue/Black Leather Type 124 Wheels
In March 2005 the 6 Cylinder engine changed to Valvetronic
now you get
525i 160Kw ( 215HP )
530i 190Kw ( 255HP )
now you get
525i 160Kw ( 215HP )
530i 190Kw ( 255HP )

And now BMW NA is in trouble. Because of their marketing BS they now have MY06's with different standards.
Again... MY changeover is ALLWAYS the factory one, which is September!
