haha i never mentioned the sex of the other driver so it might've occurred to everyone to assume that the other driver was male...well she was a female with a baby in the back o_O

sure you did... you said it in post 12. I knew it was a "she"

Glad you are OK!
The crash cannot have been that bad since the airbags didn't go off.

But call you dad! I'm sure he knows what to do.
Since he's paying I'm sure he whats to here about this first thing.

Did you get the licence number of the X5?

And the car needs to go to a official BMW shop!

Man! That's sucks!
Looks like the body frame is also damaged a bit - this will be very costly to repair, if not impossible...

This really is one of the stupidest things I have followed on here. Go to your insurer and make a claim. If their are some inane laws where you live that prevent this in your circumstance or you are so foolish that you have no insurance then pay up and get it fixed. Your VIN should be recorded so you don't sell a damaged car to someone who deserves better.

I think though that you should sell it and buy one of these.

are u being sarcastic or just funny
i dont plan on selling my car at all since its got damage and theres possible recording of this body damage
airbags didnt even go off
and again i dont plan on fooling anyone on buying a car without letting them know of the frame damage.
im just trying to avoid any possible followup because of a stupid accident

it wouldnt be impossible but it would cost alot
it would require cutting off the current side frame and putting a new one on and repaint again....
again, i just need the doors fixed o_O

Yea seriously that guy is right. Make the insurance claim already and just tell them you were so scared of the 300lb guy that you were convinced to walk away without calling 911. This doesnt make any sense by paying out of your pocket...

Regardless, it is wrong for you to even ask how to avoid the frame damage from being on record, especially since you don't plan on fixing it. Simply stating that you will let your future buyers know is a little vague, because you might change your mind at that moment.

The best course of action is to report this incident to your insurance company and have them fix it. Your insurance will also handle the possible follow ups of this accident.
