oh we believe you, but we just cant get it to work, can you pls explain how you are burning the converted MP3? Just using iTunes or Nero?
I use a mac, so I burn it with Toast 7 and the results are fine... I don't suspect anything wrong with your burning procedure, but more likely the codecs inside our readers, etc...

The trouble is that there is very little true 5.1 content out there with which to "homebrew" hinted material.
SACD provides a fair number of 5.1 releases.

There was never an SACD-rom drive. Can't be done. In general, the easiest sources are multi-channel Dolby Digital.Somehow I really don't think they're hearing anything different. Do a double blind test and I think they'd be hard pressed to tell a difference with any reliability whatsoever.
Why not post an MP3 file?
