Default Muffler delete with dual exits/quad tips on 535i

I did some searching but couldn't find anyone that ran duals on this car. Nothing on youtube either.(only single side straight pipe)
I've heard it on a 530xi and it sounded perfect to me.
Has anyone done this or heard it in person? I'm considering it but not sure how it would sound on an N54 motor.

Well i went ahead and pulled the trigger on this if anyone cares to know. It sounds nice and mellow. Much more quiet than i thought but I'm happy with it.

And absolutely no "drone".

I found it to be too loud myself the straight pipes. It's awesome for a race car perspective.. but neighbors and cops probably won't appreciate it. I met someone the other day who had it on their 335 and just got a ticket for loud exhaust on the highway..

wow that's really interesting because mine is really not that loud. (but maybe its perspective, my last car was a Magnum with Flowmaster exhausts, LoL)

the stock 335i DOES seem louder than the stock 535i tho. maybe its the shorter piping, maybe its the dual exits, maybe, there's not valve flap, or maybe all 3. My car is in for service now but once I get it back I'll post a video.

Wondering if you got the car back man. I'm about to go straight on mine, dr euros into full rpi. Wondering if you get smoke at all bc everything I've read says you get a ton. Also having trouble finding someone to install since I'm in CA, and no one wants to remove 2nd kitties

go for it man, no black smoke. I kept my stock resonator (middle of car) and ran two 2 and a half in pipes after that out the back. You either need to be crafty enough to neatly cut your bumper or get the M5 bumper or mtec bumper with the double exhaust cut-out diffuser.

I havent had the chance to do it yet but I will upload a video for you guys to see.

Sounds good. Not too loud and raspy.

dude, it sounds great. I'm so glad I didn't shell out cash for RPI/Dinan/Magnaflow/or whatever else. I honestly think it wouldn';t have been loud enough for me had I put mufflers on the back.....except for maybe Meisterchaft
