Thanks to all replies... but I had this the first time in 10 months (since I had the car) tried shutting off but nothing happen ... it is not going away... I am a computer engineer --so thanks on the reboot advice but I can't find the keyboard !!?

I am not sure what version I am running.. so I guess I have to do the run to the illiterate dealer again ...

Looking at the bright side : apart from my unresolved issues of throttle response, squeeking noises in back and front, steering column not moving, vibrations at speed, noise from the active steering, wind noise from sunroof... I am very happy with the car .

Take note that I am in the middle east - Dubai.... :'(
