I am a fairly early build as well, sport mode and manual shift all the time, and I had my entire transmission replaced to correct the "slam" after the software update failed to fix it. Even after the replacement, i still have minor neutral issues when starting (not like pennetta's problems - just have to shift back and forth until the car recognizes neutral).
