I must say that I was not a fan of Alpine White, but the color combo you put together looks fantastic. I enjoy the hell out of my 545, but am very much looking forward to a 550 in a couple of years.....maybe in Alpine White?!
Maybe you could keep your creased hood and swap it out for our winter roads!

As many other have said, I wouldn't have thought about an Alpine White until I saw the pics of your car. I hope they change the bonnet without any hazzle so that you can start enjoying your car to the maximum!

Thanks again to everyone for the kind words about my new baby. They're going to fix the hood first before I take delivery. It should delay things a few days so at this point, everyone's going to have to stay tuned for the SMG/Sport Auto comparison... Sorry! 
The only available option (that I'm aware of) that I didn't get was the anthracite headliner -- I don't think it would've looked very good with the beige interior...
