Fix the hood - or replace it?
I thought aluminium was notoriously difficult to panel beat/pull...

The M Sport package leaves me wishing somebody would steal my car or something. I love my car (delivery 3 years ago this week), but the extra 35 horsepower and that M Sport are gonna make me drive slowly past that BMW dealer again....

I think it is -- which is why it's going to be a few days more than expected. They're sending it to a BMW certified shop that is authorized to do the work on the aluminum parts, etc. I can't say for sure if theyre going to replace or repair it yet. At this point, I'm leasing for three years -- as long as it looks perfect when they give it to me, I'll be fine...

Congrats Rudy. Glad to hear they're correcting the hood. Are you going to go with a clear bra for added paint protection?

First the wait for my car... now the wait for your car.... it's killing me!

I think I am more excited about receiveing this car than I was waitng for my first BMW, an e46 330i 6 years ago. I don't remember it being this hard a wait.

Your pictures drive home the feeling that I made the right decison regarding going with Alpine White.... well.... your pictures and this:

Looking forward to the Sport Auto review as well. Good luck with the hood, I am sure the results will be perfect.

Well, as they say, objects in mirror are closer than they appear!

Don't know what you're seeing but if you look closely, all you see is a reflection of the wood trim on the dash and the top of the gear selector...
