I was at the NY Auto show and saw and sat in the official US version of the 525 and 550. C's Bimmer and PolePosition were there too. The cars are disappointingly mild looking, they are very good looking but not sporting enough in my opinion. They look just like the photos we have all seen.
My lease is up in a few months and because of their generic looks, I will be extending the lease on my car fr another year waiting for the M Sport body package.
Trunks look bigger, rear seatroom looks the same. No DCT tranny on non-M F10.

I think everyone is hoping that the Mtech kit for the F10 will really transform the look of the car. I agree with you on all other points that it just seems very bland. Then again, a non-sport stock E60 is even more bland to me (after doing a lot of visual upgrades).

I agree. I believe they wanted the kit to be a dramatic difference.

I was there too. Sorry that I missed you. I did see a few other members besides C & Kerry.
My impression of the F10 is decent. better than what I saw in picture. The thing that bother me the most is the chorme pieces they put around the side blinkers and on the door handles. Also, I agree that the car is mild looking in stock and will wait to see what the m kit would look like.

I will post a few pictures later when I get home.

Sound like the M-kit will come at an expensive premium. The F10 still doesn't move me. And even though I have not got to upgrading to any kit, I still prefer my E60.
