Saw the official US F10 535 and 550 in person today.

BMW FS will extend your lease for up to 6 months (at the same monthly rate) if you have a car on order (you need to supply the order number). 6 months is the maximum, however, that a lease can be extended for. You can enter into a new lease for a year or two years but it will probably be quite expensive. I've never seen an instance where it made sense (financially) to do this.

I was at the show this past Wednesday and I thought they had the 535i and 550i on the floor but things could have changed since then.

I don't think you could have seen the U.S. version of the 525i since there is no U.S. 525i planned. The U.S. will get the 528i, 535i, and 550i.

I can't seem to get past the blunt nose as seen from the profile view, though I believe this is being driven by pedestrian injury laws around the world. You definitely see more and more new cars with the same blunt front end look...

My Ride: 2008 550i Sport (6-speed)
Maybe so but I haven't seen a model as "blunt" a nose as the upcoming BMW's. Even the all new MB E-Class doesn't have this design.

Thanks for sharing the terrific photos everybody. The rear tail lights remind me of the Infiniti G models, the rear exhaust of the 550 looks awkward, the side profile looks "Lexus-ish", and the grill looks HUGE! But I'll reserve my opinion till I see them in person when the show comes to LA later in the year. The photos of the 5 series make them look "tall", are they taller then the e60 or perhaps it's just the angle in which the photos were taken?
