Resurface flywheel?

My Ride: 530I Silver gray with gray leather with Premium Package, Logic 7 Premium sound system with Ipod interface, xenon adaptive headlights, Active steering, Power retractable rear sunshade, Comfort seats, Cold weather package and M5 OEM 166 wheels, Sprintbooster. Ceramic Tint all around, Bilstein Sports shocks with Eibach springs, Brake performance Rotors and Axxis ceramic pads.
I don't see why it would be different that any other car. As long it is within spec, it can be resurfaced. If it were me and since the flywheel will be off anyway, I would take the flywheel to a machine shop and have them "lighten" it which frees up noticeable horse power

Depends on how light the flywheel is. Shaving off a few pounds from the stock flywheel shouldn't cause any issues....it's the 12 pound aluminum flywheels that cause issues
