Got the second amp in the mail today... Pugged it in but It does the same thing as the one that came with the car, so it's not the amp.
I plugged the MS8 again and wired it to the HU with technics harness, tried both OEM amps and neither put out any audio. Removed the MS8 and technics wiring out of the equation and back to what it was just subwoofer audio with either of the OEM amps.
Anybody whose upgraded from a CCC to CIC have a head unit I can borrow for a fee to test? Im at my wits end, any suggestions or recommendations for anyone local in San Diego or LA that can work on my audio problem? thanjks

I bought the MS8 from amazon in January, didn't do anything until last month(April) just tried to do a return/exchange with amazon and the "return" period expired march 2nd. Went to the JBL site and started an exchange ticket, we'll see where this leads me... what a pain this has turned out to be!! If it's a simple fix that I may be overlooking I'm going to kick myself

In the meantime since my car is "down" (It's driveable but don't plan to commute in it since the dash, console and rear seat are dismantled) I'm going to wrap the interior with 3dinoc black CF on the console and 3Mdinoc silver CF on the dash and door trim. I'll keep you posted where this leads me to.

I bought a used amp on ebay but same outcome, no audio from the door or rear shelf speakers.
Found a local E60 member who just upgraded his CCC to a CIC, same model and year as my car, he was nice enough to allow me to test with his CCC and right away was able to get sound from my door and rear shelf speakers. It looks like the audio portion of my CCC got fried when installing the MS8 ??

Bump for update.
When you say you tried the "audio portion of the CCC" are you talking about the M-ASK unit (the unit in the dash with the CD slot, volume knob etc.)?
My system is completely stock and my front right mids/highs have quit working. I was thinking of sourcing a new M-ASK unit to try and remedy.

I see what you are talking about. Appears to be part number 65129222876?
Looks like these go for over $3,000.00 new or around $1,000.00 used. Ouch! Much more expensive than the pre-LCI M-ASK unit, which goes for around $200.00 - $350.00.
Now you've got me thinking. For that kind of money, one may consider recoding from HiFi to Top HiFI (logic7), running the MOST cable for the Top HiFi amp and instead of using the actual amp, drop in a Mobridge DA2. From my experience with the E90, this setup provides the best sound out of all available options.
