Gents, It's been a while I posted and I must thank all the users on this post!! Matured and honest advice coming from all. I now have taken delivery of my October production 530i (Titanium Silver, Beige interior, Poplar wood trim including door pulls, Xenon, HiFi sound system) Just managed to clock in 1600km and no problems so far.

Would however like to hear from you guys on the phone issue. Did not order the car with the phone, but would like to now. Dealer is yet to come back on the price. Has anyone don this yet? Can I order it and have installed by some one else as my dealer is not the best on cost. Or is there another phone solution other than factory?

Final note ... my wife absolutely loves the drive. No active steering & DD, but power and handling is good for the family & everyday blast. Personally would have loved to get the extra bits but you know how it goes whith married folks .

I strongly advice you against butchering your car in some repair shop. You may have waranty problems too.
