When you say "logo"...you mean roundel? Mine is a '08 535i LCI with the 8" screen (not sure what kind of nav...regular nav I guess), 1 dvd, 1 CD...but I don't get a BMW "logo/roundel"...I get a "brown" screen with the letters "BMW" on it when it boots up...kinda like this: =BMW= Actually I don't know why they don't have the roundel come up...that would be pretty cool.

Yup..the 8"navi has the =BMW= words when booting, not the roundel...none of them do

My Ride: 2008 530d M sport
My car is 2005 530i M sport and it comes up with the black screen "BMW" in silver / white writing.
Sometimes this screen sticks and freezes on.
It just depends how fast you drive off before the main meun comes up..
I have learnt to wait a bit as the computer has to activate everything (bleutooth/car kit/etc) and if you dont givebit enough time, it just freezes and stays like it for two or three minutes.
I had a software upgrade becuase of it initally but i have now learnt to just wait before speeding off straight away!!
