Hi,I recently buy a bmw 520d e60 facelift 2008,and I realize that doesn't have navigation.Where navigation should appear in right menu of idrive it's appear OBC.My central unit does have only one slot for cd player and none for dvd where I should put the dvd with the maps.I found a central unit with navigation for 200€,it is possible to replace the older central unit with the new one in order to work navigation?I heard that i need an cable from the antenna to the central unit and also some coding.Can someone help me to solve this problem?Thank you

It can be done but it is a lot of work. If you search this forum it has been covered many times with DIY instructions

 

You will need the screen the drive unit and the cables + coding. The screen you have is different.
