I still havent noticed that problem and its really cold here in NY. I have noticed a rattling noise every time I shut the engine off though. I dont let the car warm up more than 30 seconds before I drive off.

After I saw this thread decided to check mine too. There is a tapping noise coming from the hood area. Doesn't seem like it's the valves because the rhythm seems slower than what the engine is running at - altho I could be wrong here.

Can hear it faintly inside the cockpit with everything shut off. Clearly audiblt when you stand even a few feet away from the car.

Tried with Normal drive, Sport mode - no difference. Noise didn't abate even after engine was warm with >15mins of driving.

- what's going on? Is this normal??

Should mention mine has about 200 miles on it.

Thats by design. They dont want us to hear the creaks in the doors, the valves rattling or the roaring RF tires. Meanwhile the Japanese are installing noise cancelling through the audio system.
