Hi I remember seeing your name back in page 30 or something, I thought you left the E60 family already.

What does the $18,000 include? and can you still take your car back for service if you don't join their plan?
It is the extended warranty offer by BMW n it basically cover everything, like when you buy the car new. I am surprised that none of you guys have faced that decision yet.

But if you don't pay 18000 can you still bring your car in for service. I don't think you will use 18000 a year to fix your car. I certainly did not.

Hey shield so you bring your car outside for repair. Do people know what they are doing I mean the car is so advance now and stuff.

For my last E39, it was more than 18000 for the extended warranty so I turn it down and went outside to fix my car.

E60 has launched for 2 years, just get a reliable workshop, sure they can fix it.

Thanks for your input. It seems the warranty need varies from person to person, n $18,000 is really a lot for one year. However, did you guys have any major repair work on your car for the last 2 years ?

Any good n reasonable price BMW mechanics you guys recommend for repair on the HK side ?

When n where is the meeting ?

Hey AC_S5,
They charge quite similar to BMWHK. But I have to wait until March06 to do it at BMWHK if I want to pay without tax... and I couldn't wait. SPS seems quite a reliable place... so I did it there. They did the job quite nice and they have excellent service.
By the way, if you guys are meeting on Dec 4th, I am afraid I cannot join as I should be going on a boat trip that day. Actually I will be in the Sai Kung area as well, but I will be out in the sea all day. Anyway, if you guys change meeting date or if my boat trip cancels, I am happy to join.

Hey very nice AhJai, SPS is quite expensive I am told, they only tune exotic cars how much did they charge you? They also have a CLK GTR in their showroom did you check that out as well.

So are you joining us in the next meet?
