Hi all,

I need opinions...

Will you go with gray or black with anthracite wood trime? Anyone one has pictures with this combination?

As for exterior, I am torn between black sapphire and titanium gray....I am afraid black is going to be too hot during summer.

Another thing - can you order M-aero kit with ED? dealer told me this is a dealer-install option. True?

Thanks,
IMHO, anthracite is the only choice.

Anyone has recommendation on dealership in Los Angeles area who is familiar with special order and ED?

Thanks a lot, guys...
I can recommend Continental Motors down in Oceanside. This is a small, almost "funky" dealership, NOT owned by a big corporation. The Pres/GM ONLY does ED and he is a pleasure to deal with + very knowledgeable. I am off to MUC in a few weeks and have yet to meet the guy -- everything handled via e-mail and mail, so their location is not really an issue. You will have no trouble dealing from ED Invoice. Once you have done your window-shopping, send an e-mail to ziggy@contmotors.com with your options and their invoice price and ask him for his best offer for "dealer margin" or you can offer "invoice + $xxx" if you have a margin number you are comfortable with.

P.S.: I too went with the black leather and Anthracite trim...

Thanks Znod for your input... It would be nice to see Gray interior with anthracite trim...

I totally agree with you on "Black is not a color" - I think it takes commitment to go with Black.
I'll take one/some tomorrow morning and post them here.

Thanks for the information and recommendation.... I guess with ED it really doesn't really require face to face (yet pressure) meeting....

Good choice of interior combination...

525xi Automatic,

Do you mind posting some interior pictures too? You guys are more helpful than the local dealers - they asked me to use my imagination!
Of what angles you want some pictures so i can take them...

Interior pics are somewhat hard to get especically without excellent conditions and positioning. I had no time to accomplish either this morning. But, I have attached 4 four gray/anthracite pics I took this morning. They are pretty good for showing what the combo looks like typically. Please excuse the dust you may see in one of the photos. I was not completely prepared for an interior photo shoot.

When you view the photos, look at your screen from different angles. You may see things from one angle not seen from another.

Oh, and I meant to say earlier that I don't think black is particularly hot in the summer. That is, the temp difference between any two colors actually is pretty small--not worth basing a decision on.

Znod,

Gray and Anthracite is a nice combo....It produces really nice contrast....I couldn't wait to show these to my wife. Decision, decision...

Thanks for the nice photos...

I guess angle from Driver, passenger side, and middle backseat would be great. Really appreciated.

TIA,
