I guess angle from Driver, passenger side, and middle backseat would be great. Really appreciated.

TIA,
Here you already have the middle backseat one:

Good enough or do you want it from even more of the back? (like you see the front seats too?)

I don't have the other one's yet but i will take those later this evening (if i don't forget ).
Otherwise remind me of it .

Znod,

Gray and Anthracite is a nice combo....It produces really nice contrast....I couldn't wait to show these to my wife. Decision, decision...

Thanks for the nice photos...
You are very welcome. Yes, the contrast is good--which you won't get with black/anthracite. But, on the other hand, the sort of one-color interior look is nice too. As you say, decisions, decisions. Happy decision making. Note that the gray washed out in some of my photos because of the lighting. And, remember that you typically don't see your interior with much sun-light present.

Yes. This is good enough. This picture is larger and has more details. The wood trime shows very
naturally. I hope the wife will give it a go .

Thanks,

If I could change one thing about my 550, besides the gas mileage, of course it would be having the anthricite trim. IMO it looks awesome with either color.

Having all the trim options individually available here in Germany, I thought about an anthracite trim too, matching my black on black exterior/leather design. Unfortunately I must say, that in real the anthracite trim is looking plastic all the way. None of the trims is real wood anyway, but anthracite is the least "real" looking. I thought it some kind of "not decent" for an E60, but next time I?d go for one of the aluminium trims.

Hi all,

I need opinions...

Will you go with gray or black with anthracite wood trime? Anyone one has pictures with this combination?

As for exterior, I am torn between black sapphire and titanium gray....I am afraid black is going to be too hot during summer.

Another thing - can you order M-aero kit with ED? dealer told me this is a dealer-install option. True?

Thanks,

I'd go black leather with anthracite. Its so sharp. Remember, there is a gray and slight blueish cast in the anthracite wood already, so IMHO it looks too plain with the grey interior. I like the gray interior and actually sat in one for a hour trying to decide. Just glad I went with anthracite, its sporty and everyone touches it when they first sit in the car. Like, wow what is this.

That said, you should (must) compare the two combos in person.

Hey mate none is wood at all. Even the Individuals. You find that only in RR.
BTW if it was real wood I would be in trouble as I scratched lightly the trim and then when cleaning inside outside ... it disappeared totaly, if that would be real wood it wouldn't.

Hi friend,
I know for a fact that it is real wood. I am even familiar with the manufacturing process. The veneer is covered in polyurethane, which acts as a protective laquer.

The company making most of the natural material (even aluminum) trim pieces for BMW and DCX is found at www.draexlmaier.de.

Thanks,
His pic looks good, but it actually doesn't show the wood close to naturally. If you want to see what the wood looks like, more or less, then check my photos again. I tried to find a decent rendition at BMWNA, but no luck. If you download the 5 series brochure and blow up the pdf picture of anthracite from 200 to 400 percent, then you'll get a still pretty crummy view--but one that is consistent with my photos. I don't care what you decide on, but I want you to go down the informed-decision path. And, as someone said, seeing the woods in person is the best way to decide (or to become more confused ).
