You mean something like this? or am i wrong?
That's much better for seeing the different shades the wood can take, depending on the light, and for seeing its grain. I took one sort of like the one you are displaying this morning, but your's is slicker. No fair grooming your car before shooting. Mine is attached. Isn't it funny how anthracite can look so different, particularly in a photo, depending on the light.

Oh ya.. when you zoom in (525xi's image) you can really tell the rich but yet subtlety of wood grain. This will be a good picture to show her....

Thanks to 525xi and Znod....

What do you mean by slicker? Hehe, i didn't groom up the trim before shooting. It was one of the first pictures i took when i got the car (approx. 4-5 months ago i got the car and took those pictures (you can see it on the idrive the 9th of April), so no need to groom .

Well 'BMW 525xi sports package' and Znod have certainly done the business on the photos front - good work guys

I've already given my opition on which one to go for, which happens to be identical to what 'BMW 525xi sports package' has.

The only other advice I would give is try to find a dealer with a huge selection of used cars, because this should increase your chances of finding cars to look at with all the different options / colours you are intersted in. I personally drove about 50km to one and it was worth it - saw the car, fell in love, case closed!

Maybe some of the CA based guys can give you ideas on which dealers would come into question?

"Slicker" may not be the right term. But, overall, your car looks cleaner/better groomed than my car. And, from what you say, it definitely was cleaner, etc. And, the light in my photo was much harsher than the light in yours. The result is that your photo shows the characteristics of anthracite better than mine. I didn't like my photo so I didn't post it originally, but it fit in with yours so I decided to post it.

No problem; your pics aren't THAT bad . It is a nice car so there can't be no bad pictures of it .

Hi all,

I need opinions...

Will you go with gray or black with anthracite wood trime? Anyone one has pictures with this combination?

As for exterior, I am torn between black sapphire and titanium gray....I am afraid black is going to be too hot during summer.

Another thing - can you order M-aero kit with ED? dealer told me this is a dealer-install option. True?

Thanks,
Im doing the gray interior with anthracite wood. Its real wood btw. I am also doing the anthracite headliner with this. I am having the Aero kit installed at the VPC where my car is now, unless its on a truck headed for my dealer. The gray interior is actually a blue shade of gray.

Too bad we cannot get carbon black in US, But I think I will be happy with either TiGray or Sapphire Black.

That is a great advice to look at used car selection. I did not think of it.

Definitely, the wife has to see it in person and give the ; I don't want her bitch about it everyday like in my 911. It is all about making peace....
