We should aim to depart via 2nd link no later than 10am. Given that there maybe those who would want to max out the bhp (going above 200kph) and those who may travel below 200kph, it would be good to have walkie talkie (anyone has a set?) so that those ahead can warn of "extra" speed toll...keke.
We can identify a couple of rest points so that we can regroup in case the convoy is being broken up. So, here's the tentative plan:
1) Make first stop at Pagoh rest station. Allow slower rides to catch up;
2) Exit NS expressway at Nilai Interchange and enter ELITE expressway (Sepang Airport);
3) Make second stop at the Elevated Bridge Restaurant at USJ just after the USJ interchange & regroup ( http://www.plus.com.my/elite/elite_facilities_EBR.asp );
4) Convoy together to the Sg Buloh rest station for lunch.
On the way back, perhaps we may, as an option, want to go for a little fun at the Go-Kart near the USJ Elevated Bridge Restaurant (south bound). We shall see how many are keen and also depends on timing.
I am driving to Ipoh late May and on my way back, I will check out the facility. Not sure if it is in operations.
Will update at the end of May. Meanwhile, let's hope more will join in. The more the merrier. Cheers!

Just came back from KL last night. There are many road works going on after the Malacca stretch converting current 2 lanes to 3 lanes. Which is good news more room to overtake.
They will block off either road and leave one lane passable to traffic depending on volume. While they were diverting the traffic, we were stuck in the jam for 30 mins and cars wern't moving. It was so bad we had to drive on the road shoulders for about 50 to 60km at 40km/h. I left KL at 4pm and reached Singapore at 7.30pm It was really fustrating to drive below the speed limit.
Anyway, I don't expect the road works to finish by June for us to go up but we can still have a smooth ride. Only when the road works are going on then we might have a bit of delay. Other than that not much of an issue.
