Frankly, after all the BAD comments I've written about the 545, there's still plenty of joy about the M6. Its really a great car to drive. Yes, there are a few little teething problems here and there, but nothing takes away the really good finishing of the plastic finishings, etc. The torque on this thing is really a killer. I'm only afraid I may lose my license one of these days soon because everytime I get to the expressway or some open road, the right foot just doesn't wanna listen to my brain; the heart takes over.
Maybe in future, I might just go for the M cars.
Not to forget, Dennis has been looking after this one with his usual professionalism.

Ask him who is taking over Robert and he is still in the dark. Such a hush hush thing still.
With regards to the hissing noise from my gear, I have toned down my mail to Robert (following a Spam mail block) and request that PML look at other option to address my disatisfaction such as fitting more sound insulation around the affected area at their effort and cost. Not hearing from him yet, not sure if he already switched off and don't be bothered by it anymore, or just deprioritized my request as small and who knows classified as a nuisance issue. hehe.
Ed, never really get to meet you formally. Will formally introduce myself if I make it to the Malacca run this Sun. Still trying to convince my wife to join me. 6am is another challange..keke. hope to catch up with you guys

Looks like the person taking over Robert could very well be James Liu or Jeffery Lau. Got an email reply from Robert Friend and these two were copied. Hmm..Soon, we will know.

It is highly unlikely that the 2 names you mentioned will be in that chair. From all indications, the seat will

BTW, Olivin, have you had your locking problem sorted out? Mine seems to deteriote over time. It has become more and more often. It's guaranteed the first drive in the morning it will happen. Then if I open my driver's door and close it again. 90% of the time the rear 2 will lock properly then.
I do not think it's the key at all cause even the manual lock on the dask may not work 20% of the time. Just try to manual lock and unlock it in rather quick successions you will find that it does not even respond.

After looking at Edlee's M6 and this thread: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=22674
thought I'll ask PML what's the cost of the Piano black interior trim for the E60, wah....it's $3300 man!
Just the section around the gear and idrive knob is over $1K!. Each of the door handle strips costs $284!
But damn nice lah Piano black....maybe wait till 20% discount...otherwise, anyknow knows some painter who can transform my crappy aluminium trim to the piano black look?

Mike told me he could do it for SGD 800.00. Don't know about his workmanship though.
