this is cool! i can have front row, synch up my ipod, and remote control!
i will dive on it immediately! both home and my ride.

i will try the remote first, let you know the outcome soonest whether it is reliable.

Welcome to the forum gshock 88. Call PML in the morning and insist they rectify immediately. Its no big deal actually; they'll have your car out on the same day; hopefully.
BTW, insist on a loaner.

Oh some of the 523s have the same issue. Probably need to replace the rack and pinion which is under warrenty. Don't worry bout it.

Thanks guys. Really miss my previous E46 320 "raw" feeling, hope have make the right choice going for E60. At least wife and kids are happy now, some regret for not going for E90 325i. Anyway, the SE offered 166K which make the 523i rather irresistable.

Bugaboo, the back up cam you showed, does it require the same video i/f as LMK's? Any other info you have?

BTW, good to see you all. Missed a few gtg, and glad that I made it this time.

Cheers.

HI All,

Glad to meet up with all of you and lots of chat and chats. Lots of laughter about the wing flaps!
And, I can still hear the cursing and laughter ...

stranger: yes. the reverse cam is just another video source. in order to display it on our built in screen, you need the video interface. i'm going to meet up with that guy later and pick it up. he charges $180 for it.
