Couple of tell-tale signs to identify a "copy":

1. road-tax disc
2. non-M5 rims
3. the speedometer
4. absence of throatier acceleration
5. always in lane 2 - 4 on our expressway
6. M5 trunk is flush, non M is not.

real M5 won't have fog lights
SMG paddles on steering wheels
SMG gear stick is very different from steptronic
500hp Power button
M5 seats are different (even from the sports seats)

That slow huh? Thought you'd probably see the car speed past before the sound comes along?

I guess you can provided the speed is way beyond 200km/h I think. But you would want to slow down so that others can admire the car the sound the roar etc. Now I am thinking about the ferrari joke.

That ferrari is the slowest driven car in Singapore. (for a purpose)

No offence to all ferrari drivers.

Totally OT, but only 111 posts to go for the magic 3k.

Thats the exact reason the Mercedes sales people always give when I compare pick-up times, etc. They always say that their cars are beautiful and graceful. Why drive so fast that nobody can notice you? Got a point there right?

The Ferrarris are slow for a different reason - a feminine one.

Anyway, fast cars always get noticed - especially by the cops.
