Time to find another "guy". That's a basic function that any BMW indie worth his salt should be able to perform.

My other guy quoted me 40$ Canadian. It's a done deal.

ok so here is the issue iam having, since buying my car ive been having a powerissue where if I run anything electrical on the car for too long, by that I mean anywhere from 15-30mins the batt would no longer have enough power to start the car without a jump. The other day I decided to buy a batt. the one I pulled out I don't think was a AGM because it didn't say so anywhere on it however the new one I dropped in is, the only difference besides that I can see is that the CCA of the new batt is 850 where the old batt was 900 I believe, so when I try to go use inpa/ista to program the new battery to the car I get a communication error between the software and the dme/dde module, ista says to run some voltage test so I do that an when it finishes it doesn't produce any results I can see and if I try to go back then come back to try registering batt it gives me the same error, inpa will give me a script processing/communication error if I try to open any screen showing any kinda values, as far as I can remember until changing batteries the other day inpa and ista both used to work for the most part. I decided to check ncs when I found out that battery info was stored in the cas2 module, when I went to my TRC file it has the option for a non AGM 110 amp-hours battery selected so im sure I need to change that to the AGM option as well as the right amp hours however I don't know exactly how to figure that out lol anyone know? also does anyone have an idea if this would cause some kind of voltage issue cause the errors when using the software or if the two issues are unrelated?
