Oh boy... well, the mod list can go on and on. I suggest reading each person's sigs and seeing what they have done. Then take a look at their galleries to see how it looks. WARNING: Modding your E60 can be harmful to one's relationship with their spouse! LOL!

As far as break in is concerned, this is up for debate. Some say not to rev it about 4K rpm, some say it's already broken in. For me personally, I never broke my E39 in or my E60. I was told by all the dealers I visited that BMW's are designed to be pushed to the limit the moment they come off the lot....meaning, there is no break in period with this car. I haven't had any problems with my E60 and almost have 10K miles on it. I'm not saying that I redlined the car every chance I got, when I first got it, but I did have some fun with it shortly after getting it.

PS - Since you have the xi, feel free to ask me any questions. We have some limitations on our car, that the standard cars don't. For example, we can't put aftermarket wheels on our car unless they are custom made with the correct offsets. This is a major issue for xi owners that want to mod and put new wheels on first. We are very limited in this area. Sucks!

If it is an east coast car, you can track it on the following site :

http://www.2wglobal.com

On the right hand side, select auto cargo, then enter the vin. You should be able to get the shipping details with an estimated port arival date.

just enjoy the car once it comes in. and if you decide some mods, enjoy it even more.
