My car is built, how long till delivery

Went on Owners circle today for US delivery and status has changed from awaiting production 9/5/03 to awaiting transport. Im assuming this means my car is now built and just waiting to get on a boat to the US.
My question: What is normal delivery time to dealer after car has been built and is awaiting transport?

My Ride: Pretty basic I guess. I have the sport, premium and cold weather pkgs. I took a risk on color selection by getting the monaco blue exterior with the auburn seats and door panels. I love both colors but have not seen the two together.
My car was finished with production over two weeks ago and waiting on the dock now for those two weeks. I'm fuming that there is no way to know when it will be loaded on a boat to start it's trip to the USA. . . another week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks to get it loaded? Who knows. I refuse to believe BMW has no control or voice on when a car is shipped. Not knowing makes me want to cancel my order and tell 'em to keep the thing. I don't think I have that option though. I'd venture to say it's not the same with Mercedes, Audi or Japanese cars. Sorry to vent. I'm really disgusted. Can you tell?
