My Ride: 2005 525d msport, half leather, eibach pro kit springs, 20 inch kahn wheels, hamann lip spoiler and rear diffuser, custom built dual square exhaust system, hella darkline tinted rear lights, black and white carbon bmw front and rear badges, ecu chipped by superchips.

hi to all, have a 525d msport 2005, just changed brake pads and front discs, however after 15 20 minutes of driving the brakes squeek like mad very loud just before the car is about to stop, can anyone give me some answers regarding this problem, thanks.

Did you change the brake pads yourself or did the dealer?

i have an 08 535i maybe 4000 miles on it and my brakes squeak also,only when my windows are down and i press light on the brakes can i hear a noise. do you think its just brake dust or is there something wrong? thanks

What you describe sounds more like the wear sensor issue from earlier model year cars but on your 2008, you'd think it would be fixed by now...

im sorry what do you mean by wear sensor? why would a sensor make noise? it doesnt do it all the time just every once in awhile but then again i dont drive with my windows down all the time. thnaks

Well I'm assuming that the brakes still make noise even if the windows are up (you just don't hear them, right?) so if that's the case, it sounds a lot like this issue:

Now if the brakes only squeal when the windows are down (not when they're up) then dude, you're on your own!

thanks ill try cleaning my car and see if that works,if not off to the dealer to get it fixed. thanks
