hi to all, have a 525d msport 2005, just changed brake pads and front discs, however after 15 20 minutes of driving the brakes squeek like mad very loud just before the car is about to stop, can anyone give me some answers regarding this problem, thanks.

welcome. the brakes squeaking is a common problem. i myself had my front brake pads and rotors replaced at about 22k miles and they did it under waranty. here's a past thread that i found about it when searching: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...s+noise+squeaky http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=43841&hl= . hope this helps. enjoy the forums.

What you describe sounds more like the wear sensor issue from earlier model year cars but on your 2008, you'd think it would be fixed by now...

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=23492 Now if the brakes only squeal when the windows are down (not when they're up) then dude, you're on your own! ;) |

Well I'm assuming that the brakes still make noise even if the windows are up (you just don't hear them, right?) so if that's the case, it sounds a lot like this issue:
