Default Brake pad wear sensor is GONE.

Good afternoon, everybody.
I have a problem with the brake pad wear sensor on the left rear wheel. Somehow it fell off and I probably ran over it, as the sensor and wiring is gone. I did remove all panels in the trunk and i can not figure out where sensor wiring goes?? Is it possible to disable it in the INPA? ( i don’t want to disable it ) but i just cant find it. The right side have 2 wires yellow brown and white brown, they heeding to the passenger sit direction. Is it some control unit located out there?

Sry for my English. Iam from Sweden.

Are you sure you are looking at the right thing? What error are you getting? What year and model car do you have? Is there a pic you can upload?

You only have two sensors on the car one in the front and one in the back. You said the right side has two wires. Is that the right rear?

On my '06 530i, there is only ONE brake pad sensor on the rear axle and one sensor on the front axle.

If you see one pad wear sensor on the rear, you are not missing that extra sensor. That's how it is.

What is the exact error you are getting?

On all my BMW's I have owned for over 15 years there has always been only one sensor per axle, one in front and one in rear. And yes the opposite brake pads may look like they lost their sensors but that is just a fact of standardized design, as long as you have one on each axle you're good to go.....

I'm pretty sure the rear axle brake pad wear sensor is only on the right side (passenger). On the front axle it is on the left side (driver).
