Well with 1.8 liters of displacement, what would you expect . The 3.0 is a much bigger engine and should not have as much of an issue. If anything Audi put too small a turbo on their 1.8t. It runs out of steam at 4500rpm.
With the N54, you get max torque at as low as 1400rpm. Where else could you get that besides a turbo engine?

And why not!. BMW's had turbos in the past and in F1, their turbos were wicked. I would love to see them go down the turbo route. BMW already make brilliant NA engines, its about time they show the rest how its done for turbo ones.

Well Porsche has already shown for decades what can be done with a turbo engine. Their 911 based turbo's have been perenial favorites for yrs.
