you just probably ain't had the right ones :P you might still reconsider, "never say never" ;-)

wow! really? I haven't driven the 535 yet, but I tested the 335 coupe in October and I must say I LOVED it. It is not quite as "BMW" as my 530 - agreed, but the power in that car was insane! And having come from several twin-turbo'ed Audis, the only thing I would actually change about my ride drivetrain-wise is the engine's torque - I love that rush that you get from the turbo when it kicks in. My last Audi was slower than my 530Xi on paper, but it was a 1000 times more exciting, because of the way the turbos kicked ass every time they kicked in. I guess its a question of preference, but I'm definitely not against turbo-charging.

Drove 335 and 535, didn't like either. Looks like I'll need to buy my car when lease expires since it may be the last in line.

we porsche fanatics had the same problem when the 911 went to water cooling. Turns out they are better motors, and the same will be said with the turbos in bmws.

bmw cant even make realiable NA engines, and now they want to use forced induction on all engines?... O god... x35i have been a flukes lol... Looks like end of bmw for mee
|
Thats pretty harsh, man! what problems did you have with the NA engines? I don't know if that's really true "bmw cant even make realiable NA engines..." - I was always under the impression that BMW engines were pretty close to state of the art technology with reliability far superior to most other brands...
