Auto Light Malfuntion Maybe?

Sorry to hear you had to spend so much on the headlight. I too had my headlight switch blinking and my problem was the the headlights were not pointed straight ahead. I learned through bimmerfest that the lights could be adjusted with a philips screw driver which I actually just did yesterday and now my lights are pointed straight ahead. When I bought the car I thought the blinking green lights was normal and am wondering why a malfunction would have green lights blinking instead of red or yellow lights, I would have known there was something wrong if the blinking lights were red or yellow and have the dealer fix it before I bought it.

Bonziat, i thought of the same thing! why the f*** green? why not red? anyways, guys, i think that ALC unit is the answer, which also has to be reprogrammed by the stealer, however i found i mechanic in central jersey that will program them for $50.00. The ALC is $147, i think i will take a chance of switching the part.

Another thing that i found out:AHL control unit has discontinued from 03/2005. From 03/2005 AHL control unit is integrated into the light module.
