Unless small distance travelled at low speed - wait for at least one hour after use to cool down.

And do not just fill and forget. Check pressures often. My rule of thumb has been to run at the full load pressures. They is in the 10% higher region than door jam/manual recommended for two passengers.
And just so you know, I tried non-RFTs and was dissapointed even after going for some top rated PS2s and then Pirelli Assyemtrics. Neither performed as well on really twisty roads as my Bridgestone RFTs so I came back and am once again a happy camper.
