2004 545i speedo dash problem
Still need e60 expert to help,
when I do the dash functional check it fails the 4 needles never move, I am about to buy a used cluster but my car only has 7,000 miles on it and if I change most of the ones I have seen for sale have over 100,000 on them so I prefer to repair mine but I need info on what pins what inputs come in on to see what is wrong?

Mileage in a used cluster doesn't matter. It will display your mileage with a tamper dot. Meaning one of the multiple places the car stores mileage doesn't match with the rest.

Actually according to my research the DME will adopt the higher of the two mileages which is why I am still looking for a KOMBI wil around 70KKms on it as wel.
