Any suggestions on where to look for this though, DIS is telling me 3 likely causes with 1 being the cluster, 2 being the K-CAN bus. Cluster I believe is in the clear even though it seems to be the most obvious affected item.
I am just at a loss as to where to start looking for that "CAN bus" as I understand it all modules are part of that, with some being slave and some being master on that circuit.
Just to eliminate the cluster I finally did order one off eBay. Just hope my low mileage car won't go to 200+K instead.......

UPDATE..........
Finally went to the dealer and had whole car re-programmed and turns out two modules, KOMBI and LMA were running older software (suspect same dealer must have caused that when they last updated SW due to new AGM battery install by them) but that's just my guess anyway have driven car now for over three weeks and all seems well after a $300. bill for SW update.
IF it was not caused by dealer initially I would suspect voltage fluctuations due to car not be run frequently by PO and bad voltage regulator.
Am really glad that for only $300 it is fixed apparently.
